Hi,

Despite all kind of promised improvements in Projetex 8 during the pre-release campaign I must admit to be disappointed in the new software.

As Projetex is meant to be an advanced project management software to meet modern needs of a professional translation agency, it is quite easy to imagine that nowadays an average translation agency works within a business server based network and that synchronization is mandatory.

Can’t really understand your choice to leave behind the synchronization tool which in Projetex 7 proved to work well and create unnecessary synchronization troubles with the new version.

In my situation upgrade to P8 turned to be an unnecessary loss of time and money.

Kind Regards,
Sherefedin

Hi Sherefedin,

Thank you for your feedback!

That’s true that we have switched to the document version control system in Projetex 8. It provides a lot of advantages and fast work over Internet. But I understand that this technological improvement may not fit well into your working processes. I am ready to discuss your daily working processes with you personally and see what we can do now or with future version to provide for better flexibility. If ther is enough users who would like a choice between Version 7 and Version 8 file and folder system, we will provide an option to choose it manually.

I will follow up by e-mail shortly.

Kind regards,
Vladimir.
